Greater DC Cares is the District's volunteer center and the largest coordinator of volunteer services in the greater Washington region. Join the DC Citizen Corps

DC Citizen Corps provides residents valuable emergency training and education to prepare themselves, their family, and community in case of an emergency. The program brings together local community leaders, neighborhood volunteers, and the network of first responder personnel to increase community involvement in emergency preparedness and response.
